Darcille Mueller, 87, of Latium went to be with the Lord on November 25, 2023. Darcille was born on February 20, 1936, to Albert and Lydia Wieghat Moehlmann, Sr. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Darcille married Kirby Mueller at St. John Lutheran Church in Prairie Hill on August 4, 1957.
Darcille was a member of Wesley Brethren Church and served as the Treasurer of the Wesley Brethren Christian Sisters for many years. She worked for the Brenham Independent School District in the cafeteria for over 40 years. Darcille could be found outside doing yard work and gardening or in the kitchen cooking for her family and friends. She loved being around people.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Kim and Debbie Mueller; son-in-law George Galbreath and wife, Cynthia; brother and sister-in-law Albert and Martha Moehlmann. Grandchildren: Lisa and Jason Cooper; Laury and Kalen Revia; Bradley and Brooke Mueller; Amanda and Garrison Roberts; and Matthew and Allie Galbreath. Great Grandchildren: Reagan Cooper; Preston Cooper; Rush Revia; Ryot Revia; Rally Revia; Rage Revia; Parker Mueller; Kollyns Mueller; Cullen Roberts; Cash Roberts; Clara Roberts; and Camden Hamilton; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kirby Mueller; parents Albert and Lydia Moehlmann, Sr.; daughter Kathy Lynn Galbreath; sister and brother-in-law, Rosalie and Arthur Mueller; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Burnie and Burdine Schulze; and niece, Karen Mueller Brown.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Wesley Brethren Church, with Pastor Michael Groseclose officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
Serving as pallbearers are Bradley Mueller; Garrison Roberts; Jason Cooper; Kalen Revia; Matthew Galbreath; and George Galbreath.
