Carolyn Warmke

June 14, 1947 — December 20, 2021

Carolyn Faye (Mueller) Warmke of Brenham, Texas passed away
peacefully and joined the Lord on Dec 20th at the age of 74 after a long but courageous battle with dementia.

A visitation will be held from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with the family present from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Salem Lutheran Church with Dr. Craig Dohse officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Carolyn was born on June 14, 1947 to Wilfred and Delta (Georges) Mueller, where they lived in the Winedale Community until moving to Brenham. Carolyn attended Brenham public schools and graduated from Brenham High School in 1965.

Carolyn was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and active member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church until her illness took over. She was a long time Sunday school teacher, served as a greeter and was on numerous committees. Carolyn loved her church and her church family.

On June 5, 1965, Carolyn was united in marriage to the love her of life,
Jerry Lee Warmke. The two of them built a solid foundation of love, faith and a loving family of 45 years and raised two children, Cabin and Cammie. The simple pleasures in life brought great joy to Carolyn. She loved a quiet evening at home watching game shows, loved checking on Jerry's cattle, she was very meticulous about her yard, and she enjoyed her many trips to the casino.

Most people around town knew her has "Carolyn from the radio station", Carolyn worked as the Sales Manager at KWHI/KTEX where she retired in 2016 after 43 years of service. Carolyn truly loved her clients and enjoyed her daily conversations and visits with each one of them.

Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met. She had a gracious heart and beautiful soul. Her love for her family was tremendous. Carolyn's pride and joy were her grandchildren. She loved to attend their many activities, you could always find her sitting in the stands at a soccer, softball, baseball game or at a livestock show. She was their biggest supporter and always there to give a hug and an encouraging word.

Carolyn is survived by her son & daughter in law, Cabin & Missie Warmke, son in law, Michael Ganske, grandchildren, Robin & Chase Wilson, Payton & Brooke Warmke, Caden Warmke & Daylon Drews and Hanna Warmke, great grandchildren, Collin & Cameron Wilson, brother-in-law Willis Drews, nephew Darrell Drews and wife Kim Kopecky.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerry Warmke, her beloved daughter, Cammie Ganske, parents, Wilfred & Delta Mueller, mother & father-in-law, Reinhard & Irma Warmke, and sister-in-law Florence Drews.

Pallbearers: Payton Warmke, Caden Warmke, Chase Wilson, Darrell Drews, Larry Weikel, Andrew Jozwiak, Michael Schulte, and Johnnie Eckert.

Honorary Pallbearers: Robin Wilson, Hanna Warmke, Brooke Warmke, Daylon Drews, and Collin & Cameron Wilson.

The family would like to thank Allumine Health and Hospice, Silversage, Hudson Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center, Jasmine Morrison and Bridget Gray for their compassionate and loving care to our loving mother and grandmother.
