Brian Keith Wostal

Brian Keith Wostal, 69, of Burton, TX, died on July 30, 2023.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 4, 2023 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Greenvine, 6700 Wickel Road, Burton, TX 77835, with Pastor Cindy Robles officiating. Interment will follow at a later date at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park in New Braunfels, TX.

Brian was born on February 13, 1954 in Corpus Christi, TX to Samuel and June Herschap Wostal.

Brian was an Eagle Scout recipient, trumpet soloist, choir member, and a soloist within the choir. He worked as a rock crusher in the mining and construction business and was the superintendent of Rock Crushers Inc.

Brian is survived by his father, Samuel J. Wostal of New Braunfels, TX; life partner, Patricia Jozwiak (Pat) of Chappell Hill, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Logan Wostal and wife Kellie of Austin, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Skye Burditt and husband David of Ava, MO; sister and brother-in-law, Lisa Kay Wostal Smith and husband Walter Kelly of Centerville, TX; sister, Holly Ann Wostal of Katy, TX; grandchildren, Miracle Galan, D’Carlo Burditt, Obadiah Burditt, Jedidiah Burditt, Avi Burditt, Jonathan Burditt, Anna Burditt, Judah Burditt, Atarah Burditt, Samuel Wostal, and William Wostal.

He is preceded in death by his mother, June Marie Herschap; and brother, Scott Andrew Wostal.

Serving as pallbearers will be Troy Weidemann, Russell Klump, Ruben Robles, Ralf Thiemer, D’Carlo Burditt, and Mark Shepherd. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Rock Crushers, Inc - Daryl Gummelt, Rodney Conklin, Russell Janish, Lisa Wostal Smith, Kory Smith, and Chris Kulow.
