Brenda Montgomery

Brenda Oldham Montgomery, 70, died October 24, 2019 at her residence in Brenham.

Brenda was born March 20, 1949 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Thomas Henry Pouncey, Jr. and Dorothy Welborn Pouncey.

She was employed as a Programmer-Analyst at Blinn College. She loved gardening, cooking, and decorating cakes. To celebrate holidays, Brenda was passionate about decorating with homemade wreaths and homemade gift cards.

Survivors include her sister, Rita Pouncey Imam and brother-in-law Dr. Asher Imam of Southlake, as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Mississippi and Alabama.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Mackey Montgomery; ex-husband, Mason Oldham; sister; Shirley Ann Pouncey Perdue, and her parents, Dorothy Welborn Pouncey and Thomas Henry Pouncey, Jr.

Memorials may be directed to the Brenham Animal Shelter.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date in Louisville, Kentucky.
