Brenda Galle

Brenda Lois Noviskie Galle, 75, passed away May 17, 2025, at her home in Brenham, Texas.

Brenda was born December 17, 1949, in Bellville Texas, to Bryan T. "Cotton" Noviskie and Pearl Schavrda Noviskie. Brenda graduated from Bellville High School in 1969. She attended Blinn College.

On January 24, 1970, she married Edward Wayne Galle in Bellville, Texas. Together they had one son Christopher Ryan and two daughters Courtney Renee and Gretchen Lynn.

Brenda worked at St. Jude's Hospital before becoming a stay-at-home mom. Later she worked at Grace Lutheran School and Seidel Schroeder before retiring.

Brenda was very loyal to her Texas A&M Aggies and loved cheering for the football team each fall! She enjoyed cross-stitching, reading and watching old movies. Most of the time she could be found in her chair watching the Hallmark Channel or Fox News. She loved being a mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Galle; son Christopher Galle; daughters Courtney Galle and Gretchen Galle Vogler and son-in-law Chad Vogler; grandchildren Katelyn Elizabeth Galle, Parker Ryan Galle and Cash William Vogler; brother Bruce Noviskie and sister-in-law Wendy; sister Diana Morris and brother-in-law Otto; numerous nephews; grandchildren from the heart Kendall Caroline Smidovec and Tatum Helena Smidovec; family friend Beth Ann Schramm; godchildren Becky Jasinski, Sarah Brash, Patrick Goebel and Adam Noviskie. She also is remembered by her long-time caregiver Sharay Belton and Nettie Ragston as well as numerous other family and friends.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Cotton and Pearl Noviskie and in-laws, Alton and Adell Galle.

A memorial service for Brenda will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Christ Lutheran located at 1104 Carlee Street, Brenham, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Austin County Jail Museum at 1887 Nelius Road, Bellville, Texas 77418.
