Bobby Owens, Jr

Bobby Ray Owens, Jr., 52, of Chappell Hill, Texas, died Nov. 11, 2006, near Cheyenne, Wyoming, due to injuries from a natural gas pipeline explosion. Mr. Owens was born April 19, 1954, in Bastrop, Louisiana, to Bobby Ray Sr. and Jackie Tomlinson Owens. He was a heavy equipment operator for Associated Pipeline. Survivors include his daughter, Mandy Ann Brock of Katy; father, Bobby Ray Owens, Sr. of Chappell Hill; mother, Jackie Owens of Bastrop, Louisiana; grandchildren, Alexindria and Jacob Brock; and brothers and sister-in-law, George Robert and April Owens of Washington, Shane Owens and Patricia Glory of Washington and Rodney Owens of Houston. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. The graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bastrop, Louisiana.
