Beth Wessinger Conklin was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 21, 2026 at her home in Burton, Texas. Born on December 16, 1965, in Washington County, Texas, to Johnnie and Lennie Wessinger, Beth dedicated her life to helping others, serving as a paramedic in Washington County for many years. Known for her outgoing, loving, and friendly personality, she loved her morning coffee, birdwatching on her back porch, baking treats for her neighbors, cooking, and, most importantly, spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie Wessinger and Lennie Gano; brother Jeffery and sister-in-law Linda Wessinger; and brother Rusty Wessinger.
Beth is survived by her husband, Rodney Conklin; daughter, Joanna and her husband, Aaron Castloo; daughter, Jennifer Novak; sister Jamie and her husband, Victor Kuykendoll; brother John and his wife, Lori Wessinger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Beth will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Rocky Creek Volunteer Fire Department from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Beth may be directed to Hospice Brazos Valley-Brenham or Rocky Creek Fire Department.
