Arthur Grimm

Arthur Will Grimm, 79, of Brenham, died Aug. 13, 2019, in a Brenham hospital.

The funeral service for Arthur Grimm will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15 at Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville, with Pastor Katrina Walther officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Mr. Grimm was born May 2, 1940, in Brenham, to Arthur and Lydia (Schneider) Grimm. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

On March 11, 1962, he was married to Dorothy Gaskamp at Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville. Mr. Grimm was retired from Pomykal Drilling and enjoyed fishing, barbecuing and being with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Grimm; son Bradley Scot Grimm; brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Cookie Grimm; sisters and brother-in-law, Gracy Lange and Lois and Jones Moehlmann; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Laverna and Henry Ganske, Linda and Gary Lehde, Lydia and Milton Green, and Delfred Gaskamp; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Joy Dell Grimm; brothers-in-law, Monroe Lange and Elroy Oevermann, and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Delmus and Lydia Gaskamp.
