Alice Ahlhardt

Alice Ahlhardt, 88, passed away on June 15, 2025. Alice was born in Independence, Texas on January 13, 1937 to Robert and Lydia "Brinkmeyer" Schroeder.

Alice was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She was very active in church, serving wherever she could. She was a talented seamstress and tailor, and loved embroidery and quilting.

Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Ahlhardt, son, Albert Ahlhardt and brother, LeRoy Schroeder. Alice is lovingly survived by her daughters, Kathy Ransleben (Michael) and Linda Wade (Daniel), brother in law, George Ahlhardt, sister in law, Shara Lynn Ahlhardt, sister Ruby Sehlke, grandchildren, Stephen Ransleben, Michael Ransleben Jr., Amy Johnson, Amanda Ransleben, Lisa Charnoski, Laura Wade and Kelly Osborne along with numerous great-grandchildren, niece, Brenda Haines and nephew Clifford Ahlhardt.

A visitation for Alice will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Memorial Oaks Chapel located at 1306 W. Main Street, Brenham, Texas. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 11:00 am at Greenvine Baptist Church located at 5010 FM2502, Burton, Texas with the burial to follow in the Greenvine Baptist Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Stephen Ransleben, Michael Ransleben Jr., Andrew Charnoski, Brenard Charnoski, David Becker and Benjamin Hawthorne.
