Florance Cordes

Florance Cordes was born at home in Winedale Texas on July 19, 1941. She was the oldest of nine children born to Chester and Violet Markwardt.

She had a tremendous love for bowling and is listed in the Hall of Fame at the USBC National Bowling Assoc. with the Lifetime Achievement Award. She also loved to travel and play bingo. We love her dearly and will miss her deeply.

She passed on December 26, 2018.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham on Sunday January 6th at 2:00 pm. The burial will be Monday January 7th at Capital Memorial Park in Pflugerville at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, we ask for your donation to Hospice Brazos Valley or the charity of your choice.
