Oliver Neutzler

Oliver Dean Neutzler, also known as O.D. or Deanie , 51, of Carmine, went to be with the Lord Aug. 23, 2006, at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Mr. Neutzler was born Dec. 7, 1954, in Brenham, to Oliver Adolph and Vinita Bell Logan Neutzler. He was baptized Jan. 31, 1955 and was confirmed March 30, 1969. Mr. Neutzler was a roofer and sheet metal worker. Survivors include his parents, Oliver A. and Vinita Neutzler of Carmine; sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Gary Pohl of Brenham; nephew, Michael Pohl and wife Sara; niece, Tanya Hupe and husband Jason; great-nephew, Hayden Hupe; great-nieces, Brianna Hupe and Taylor Pohl; and numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and three uncles. The family will receive visitors from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26 at Foehner Funeral Home in Burton. The funeral service will be at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Greenvine with Pastor Pam Werrell officiating. Burial will be in La Bahia Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Greenvine.
