Lillian Quebe Becker, 99, of Brenham, died in a local nursing home on November 24, 2006. Mrs. Becker was born on March 26, 1907 in the Prairie Hill community of Washington County, Texas, a daughter of Charlie & Alma Ehlert Quebe. She was baptized and confirmed in St. John Lutheran Church at Prairie Hill. Lillian attended the Live Oak-Rocky Hill public school. On November 12, 1936, Lillian and Henry Becker were married in the White Hall community of Grimes County, Texas. Mrs. Becker was a homemaker for her entire adult life. Mr. Becker preceded her in death on December 28, 1996. Mrs. Becker is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, H.C. & Marilyn Becker and her daughter, Lillie Mae Klehm Gross and her friend, James Ricks. She is survived by her grandson, Glen Klehm and by great-grandchildren, Derek Klehm and Taylor Klehm. Further survivors include her sisters and brothers-in-law: Ella Mae Quebe, Louise & Lee Roy Neumann, Leroy Schroeder and sister-in-law, Edna Loesch. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, five sisters, a brother and two sons-in-law: Wilburt Klehm and Eddie Gross. Visitation will be Saturday evening, November 25, 2006 between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. in Memorial Oaks Chapel. The funeral will be on Sunday afternoon, November 26, 2006 at 2 p.m. in St. John Lutheran Church at Prairie Hill with Pastor David Hansen. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Marvin Becker, Walter Loesch, Bobby Arndt, Emery Schulze, Mike Grunder, Warner Neumann and Larry Loesch. The following will be considered honorary pallbearers: Alfred Becker, Greg Gaskamp, Douglas Wehring, Alfred Leiber, Travis Wehring, Russell Schroeder, Donald Schroeder and Willie Janacek. Memorial contributions may be given to St. John s Lutheran Church where Mrs. Becker has been a lifelong member. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, Inc.-1306 W.
