Lacy Kaye Terry, 17, of Carmine, died March 14, 2006, in Brackenridge Hospital in Austin. Miss Terry was born August 8, 1988, in Brenham. She was a senior at Brenham Christian Academy and was a member of the National Honor Society and Who s Who in High School Students of America. She was a cheerleader at Brenham Christian Academy, student ambassador to People to People and attended First Baptist Church of Chappell Hill. She was also a graduate of and a red hand of Red Cliff Ascent of Utah. Survivors include her parents, Charlie and Diana Terry of Euless; brother, Dillon Graham Terry of Euless; grandparents, Charles Graham and Cynthia Lacy of Carmine, Margaret M. Terry of Danbury, Connecticut and Dr. Ward and Sue Terry of Midland; great-grandparents, Bob and Margaret Hickson of Georgetown and June Lacy of Grand Prairie; special grandparents, Patsy and Andy Clinton of Brenham; special sisters, Sarah, Libby and Wendy Clinton of Brenham; special aunt, Kim Milder of Houston; special uncle, John Covington of Austin; and the love of her life, Ben Beckworth. The family will receive visitors from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, March 17 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. The funeral service will be at 6:18 p.m. Saturday, March 18 in Memorial Oaks Chapel with Rev. David Beckworth officiating. Memorials may be given to Brenham Christian Academy or the Ronald McDonald House of Austin, 403 E. 15th St., Austin, TX 78701.
