Christine Mary "Tina" Gaskamp, 52, of Brenham, the wife of Randy Gaskamp, went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2011 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Bryan. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Christ Lutheran Church, with Pastor Karen Wilhelm and Rev. Laurinda Kwiatkowski officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Tuesday, November 15, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Tina was born on December 25, 1958 in Brenham, to Henry Paul and Maria Anna Margosiak Lange. Baptized at Friedens United Church of Christ, she was confirmed at Christ Lutheran Church. A graduate of Brenham High School, Tina married Randy Gaskamp on July 1, 1978. She was employed at Pool Tex. Tina was a member of American Legion Women½s Auxiliary and Washington County Fair Association, organizations which she supported with many volunteer hours of service. Tina enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. She had much love in her heart, and she shared it freely with everyone she met. Working in the yard, tending to her plants and doing little projects around the house were favorite pastimes. Along with her husband, Randy, she took every opportunity to take fishing trips to Port O½Connor or Matagorda. Tina and Randy were soulmates; they did everything together, including many fishing and hunting trips. Their many common and shared interests strengthened their relationship and their marriage. A loving and giving person, Tina made family her top priority. Helpful to anyone and everyone, her giving and caring nature was extended even to her pets and animal friends. She brought laughter and smiles to everyone, lighting up a room with her smile and presence. Her outgoing personality was her trademark. A devoted wife and mother, daughter and friend, she will be truly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her husband, Randy Allen Gaskamp of Brenham; son and daughter-in-law Gavin and Kristin Gaskamp of Brenham; daughter and son-in-law; Rheagan and Chase Mulder of Brenham; her mother Maria Anna Margosiak Lange Meyer of Brenham; brothers and sisters-in-law Tommy and Sheree Lange of Brenham, and Kenneth and Tricia Lange of Brenham; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Helen and Gilbert Gaskamp of Brenham; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Gayle and Randy Kunkel of California, and nieces Amber and Blake Dooley, Chelsey Lange, Robin and Jeff Wagner, Sara and Chuck Nagel, Teresa Lange, Kaci and Dusty Kasprowicz, nephew Kolin Kunkel, and great-nephew, Aiden Lange. She was preceded in death by her father; Henry Paul Lange; brother, David Wayne Lange; step-father, Walter F. Meyer, as well as her godparent, Elsie Lorenz. Serving as pallbearers are: Matt Leopold, Roger Eckert, Dodd Lange, Dean Luetge, Gary Wilkerson, Bradley Fischer, Patrick Lange, and Ronnie Bockhorn. Honorary pallbearers are Marvin Fischer, her godparent, Hildegard Lange, Ken and Paula Baker, and all employees of Pool-Tex, Vickie Wehmeyer, Cindy Schwarze, Jackie Eckert, and Barbara Luetge. All close friends and acquaintances of Tina½s will be considered honorary pallbearers by her family. Memorials may be directed to any animal shelter or to a charity of your choice in memory of Tina Gaskamp.
