Annie Koehne Lange, 83, of Brenham, died May 16, 2005, in Trinity Medical Center in Brenham. Mrs. Lange was born March 15, 1922, in Washington County, Texas, to Henry Sr. and Annie Jessie Koehne. She attended Washington County schools. On Oct. 2, 1941, she was married to Rufus Lange, Sr. Mrs. Lange was a former employee of Brentex Mills and Maddox Furniture. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Brenham, was a homemaker and loved cooking, gardening and canning. Survivors include her husband, Rufus Lange, Sr. of Brenham; son and daughter-in-law, Rufus Jr. and Gladys Lange of Brenham; daughter, Pearlie Rosner of Brenham; three grandchildren, Greg Rosner and wife Joyce, Lisa Rosner Heugatter and Teresa Lange Moudry and husband Mike; four great-grandchildren, Christine Rosner, Mikey Moudry, Tara Moudry and Chandler Moudry; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Koehne of Brenham and Adeline Mantey of Somerville; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Joseph Rosner; three brothers; and five sisters. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 19 in Grace Lutheran Church in Brenham with Pastors Matthew Jacobs and William Holzer officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter s Lutheran Church Cemetery at Gay Hill. Pallbearers will be Clarence Moehlmann, Floyd Bentke, Greg Rosner, Mike Moudry, Herbert Mantey and Wilbert Rogas. Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church in Brenham. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
