Alpha Massey

Alpha N. Massey, 96, of Brenham, died December 26, 2005, in Kruse Memorial Lutheran Village in Brenham. Ms. Massey was born Sept. 28, 1909, in Midland, Texas, to William Calley and Mary Amelia Stovall Massey. She was a secretary at John A. Green Electronics in Houston and was a member of St. John Divine Episcopal Church in Houston. Survivors include her niece, Patricia Smith McCanlies of Round Top; great-nephew, Michael McCanlies of Austin; great-niece, Sheri Keefe Ramsay of Highland, Utah; great-great-niece, Alexandra McCanlies of Austin; great-great-nephew, Dylan Ramsay; and great-great-niece, Taylor Ramsay. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2005 at Forest Park Lawndale in Houston with Randy Fowler officiating. Service arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
